Today, November 6 at the Burroughs Community School in South Minneapolis, is the 50 Artists on 50th Cultivated Art Show. This is kind of the cream of the crop of exhibiting art fair artists. High quailty all around. One day only, get your xmas shopping done early! 1601 W 50th St, Minneapolis.

Running today and all week through November 14 is Peggy’s Holiday Boutique in the skating center in Roseville. They’re open late on weekdays so you can definitely find time to check out all the great handcrafted art. Betsy won’t be there, but all her original art and children’s books will be!

Betsy Bowen Studio is open for Crossing Borders Studio Tour today September 24 through October 3.

The public is invited to participate in a FREE self-guided tour of a select group of professional Artist Studios located along the Minnesota North Shore of Lake Superior. The Crossing Borders Studio Tour offers a unique opportunity to visit the home studios of the artists and view and purchase artwork. Learn about the artists’ processes and how this environment influences our aesthetic decisions.

Featured this year are stone sculpture, Ojibwe art work, pottery, weaving, glass sculpture and jewelry, print making, hand-made paper, wood turning and carving, furniture, metal works and jewelry, flint-knapping, leather, and wooden boats. While traveling between the studios, visitors will enjoy the amazing fall colors and panoramic views of Lake Superior.

Part of the 2009 #1 Art Festival according to American Style Magazine, Wausau’s annual Festival of Arts is now in its 46th year. Each year, the free celebration of the arts, decorates downtown Wausau with exceptional artwork, entertainment and children’s activities. Patrons can purchase artwork in a variety of styles and prices from over 120 juried, professional artists from Wisconsin and all over the country.
