Betsy is a Winter Texan this year, watching the birds and working with Jeremy again in his printshop in the lively island town of Port Aransas, on the Gulf Coast of Texas—near Corpus Christi and Padre Island. Brown Pelicans are local favorites, diving for fish and swimming with the dolphins in the shipping channel. They are still an endangered species. Anybody close by come visit us—we are part of the Port A Glass Studio and Art Gallery, right in the middle of town, next to The Gaff Pirates Cove Bar. Belt sander races again this Saturday in the back yard—really, it’s worth the trip! Otherwise see you next summer in Grand Marais—call or email Betsy Bowen Studio anytime, we haven’t forgotten you just because it’s winter!

The show will run from July 8th 2011 through July 27th 2011, with opening festivities Thursday, July 7^th. Join us for our happy hour sneak peek opening and sale on Thursday, July 7^th from 5-7 pm, featuring neighborhood arts, artists, and treats.

Previous exhibits have included over fifty established and emerging painters, sculptors, fabric artists, photographers, furniture makers, printmakers, and more!
